“Designs become classics for a reason,” explains Ben Duff. “They’re timeless. Trends will come and go, but good design stands the test of time.”

The same is true in the jewellery industry, and with more than 90 years of experience in retail and manufacturing, Duffs Jewellers has mastered the art of timeless design.

Duffs’ Signature Collection brings together four of its most popular diamond ring designs.

“Our signature ring designs have endured across the decades, winning hearts over and over again” says Ben.

The collection includes Marjorie, a vintage style 1960s inspired ring featuring four round brilliant diamonds with an elegant milgrain finish. A version of this piece was sold by Ben’s grandfather back in the 1960s. Then in the 1980s, Duffs breathed new life into the old design.

“It was a technically difficult piece which we redesigned, refined and began manufacturing ourselves. This style has been popular ever since. It’s a perfect ring for second weddings and active people who like to wear their ring all the time, because it’s virtually indestructible.”

One of Duffs’ most popular engagement rings today is Carolyne, a five-diamond ring in yellow gold, which has also been refined since first appearing in stores in the 2000s.

“It originally had a little shoulder that kicked up at the sides. Customers told us they loved the design but not the kick up shoulder, so we remodelled it and it’s been one of our most popular ever since. One tiny little detail made all the difference. We now sell that design in five different diamond sizes catering to budget and preferences, right up to five half-carat diamonds.”

Duffs’ Signature Collection also includes a Renai, stunning Christmas star-inspired cluster ring that Ben first designed for his wife before they were married. He won her heart and the design has been wowing generations of customers ever since with its incredible sparkle.

Another of Duffs’ popular styles is Susan, a full set of diamonds, featuring 18 round brilliant cut diamonds totalling 3 carat diamond, although number and size can vary. This style can be custom made in white or yellow gold and has been an enduring design suitable as wedding band, engagement or eternity ring, offering plenty of dazzle for any occasion.
