Duffs Jewellers brings sparkle to Ballarat’s Bridge Mall

The opening of Duffs Jewellers’ new Ballarat store signals the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the long-running family owned business. The sparkling new store is now open following an extensive renovation and stunning fit-out of an existing store at 23 Bridge Mall.

The Ballarat store showcases Duffs Jewellers’ full collections, including diamond engagement rings, wedding rings, pink diamonds, coloured stones, watches, fine gold and silver pieces, and on-trend fashion jewellery, with a focus on personalised service.

Proprietor Ben Duff said Ballarat customers could expect the same extensive collections and full range of services found at its three Geelong stores, including repairs, remodelling and custom design.

“Duffs Ballarat will meet the needs of customers from around the region looking for high quality jewellery for a special occasion and everyday wear,” he said.

Duffs Jewellers is excited to expand into Ballarat, particularly with the $23.3 million redevelopment of the Bridge Mall edging closer to completion.

“We do see a lot of people travelling from Ballarat to visit our Geelong Stores so now they will be able to access the full Duffs Jewellers collections and services including custom designed jewellery and repairs, a little closer to home,” said Sam Duff, a Director of Duffs Jewellers and fourth generation family member.

“There’s so much happening in Ballarat with the redevelopment of the Bridge Mall. We’re looking forward to being part of this revitalised precinct and serving the needs of Ballarat residents for generations to come,” Sam said.

Duffs Jewellers began more than 95 years ago when Mr Frank Alexander Duff opened a small giftware store in St Arnaud, in central Victoria. The move to Geelong came in the 1950s when Duffs bought an existing jewellery store in Ryrie St, then opened a second store in Moorabool St.  With Duffs Jewellers well established in Geelong, the business moved in to the Westfield Shopping Centre where it remains today, operating alongside additional stores at Waurn Ponds and in Pakington St, Geelong West.
